Steven Neeves is the owner and founder of Beach Neon. He is native to the Myrtle Beach area and is a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School and Coastal Carolina “College” before it was a university.

 

During the ’80s, Steven's father had a large sign company here in town. He wanted to start doing the neon “in-house”, so somebody in the family had to learn how to do it and Steven volunteered. Steven attended a neon school in Minneapolis and learned the basics before coming back home and spending 6-9 months honing the craft. 
 

Since he started professionally designing in 1987, Steven's neon work has been featured in hundreds of businesses along the Grand Strand and elsewhere.
 

Today, Steven carries on his father's passion for designing and creating. He owns and operates the last active commercial neon shop in Horry County: Beach Neon.
